EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING

Required:
• High School, GED or trade school graduate with courses in arithmetic, mathematics, and painting.
• California Drivers License required
• Demonstrate competence in painting and related fields.
• Able to do basic repairs and maintenance on hospital building systems

• Competent and can perform independently

SPECIFIC SKILLS NEEDED
• Able to work alone, organize jobs, teach various skills to others.
• Sufficient expertise in specialty area(s), i.e., surface preparation, painting, and wall coverings, to meet staffing needs of the hospital and minimize the need to utilize outside contractors.

• Should be knowledgeable of material and work procedures used in surface preparation, painting, and wall covering applications. Possess ability to read blueprints.
