Stationary Engineer $45.00

Required:
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Current LA City Steam Engineers Unlimited License

• Maintenance and repair experience of major equipment.
• Require a valid California Driver’s License.
• LA City Fire card with-in 6 months of employment

Preferred:
• Hospital experience preferred
• Knowledge of Hazardous materials (HVAC and Boiler Systems)

PERSONAL QUALITIES

• Repeated bending, squatting and stooping.
• Occasionally lifting of heavy weights from 100 to 150 pounds assisted.
• Ability to do prolonged standing and walking for entire 8-hour shift.
• Climbing of ladders and scaffolding.
• Ability to run up and down several flights of stairs.
• May be exposed to hazards from use of tools, power equipment and materials.
